OBJECTIVE: Create a publication design that includes a cover, table of contents, and two spreads. The cover must include a name plate, volume/issue, and us/canadian pricing. each spread must include an article with corresponding photos which will be supplied.
PROCESS: I started this magazine layout by choosing specific photos I thought were evoking or interesting. I worked with compositions that were dynamic and not just bodies of text covering an entire page. I highlighted the photos while still acknowledging the text as important. I think the layout was an overall success. I especially like the spread that contains a quote that sits in the left corner because it allows the space to breathe and draw attention to the image.
