OBJECTIVE: Choose a global banking, global logistics, or global construction company and do a complete re-branding. Re-design the company’s logo and brand identity. Create a stationery set, web design, app interface design, trade show booth, and employee uniform. You must also create an abbreviated standards manual that includes the Logo with brief description of its meaning and relevance to the client, Chosen Type Families, Color palette, Correct & Incorrect Logo Usage with descriptions, Logo Orientations and minimum size options, logo safe zone, Inclusion of additional support design elements including super graphics, textures or patterns.
PROCESS: This project began with lots of preliminary comps until I settled on one I thought had a good meaning. Since Bouygues is an environmentally friendly construction company I used a house with a sprouting tree brand which encapsulates their brand personality fairly well. Everything else sort of fell into place when colors were chosen. i also used a faint wood texture on the business cards and envelope that adds nice detail to the brand.
